Healthy4Life is a 10 week after school healthy lifestyle programme for families in North Tyneside.
Promoting healthy eating through sharing family-friendly recipes ideas and letting little ones try new snacks to learning about food labels and how sugar and salt can often be hiding in our food.
The programme also introduces parents and children to physical activity – which doesn’t have to be a chore – it’s all about trying different things to find something that suits you – whether you’re a grown up or a child.

What can you tell us about you?
I have been involved with sport all my life. I worked for Sport North Tyneside for five years delivering various programmes to all ages and abilities. I joined the Healthy4Life team in October 2021 and have loved every minute of it so far!
What is your favourite sport?
I have two favourite sports; one is football and the other is tennis. I have played both sports since I was little and still play at club level to keep myself active.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I was very fortunate to play tennis at Wimbledon this year. It was an amazing experience as I got to play on the tournament’s grass courts and go behind the scenes around the venue.
