The Active North Tyneside team are here to encourage everyone to try and get active, everyday. The team are funded by Public Health and are part of North Tyneside Council’s Sport and Leisure Service.

Around one in two women and a third of men in England are damaging their health through a lack of physical activity (Health Survey for England 2012). Being active at every age increases quality of life and everyone’s chances of remaining healthy and independent.

We recommend you try and incorporate just a little bit of physical activity into your daily life, it’s easier than you think.
