“Body Benefits was recommended to me by a nurse at my GP Surgery.

I agreed to attend, but as the time got closer, I thought ‘what have I done?’ 

I am not a confident person, but on that first visit the staff made me feel so welcome, and nobody judged anyone else.

By the second week, every one was speaking to each other and motivating one another. This was great, and soon I couldn’t wait for Wednesdays when the sessions took place.

During the sessions, you learn the benefits of eating healthy. You’re not on a diet, but eating healthier. Then you go to the gym where you can do different classes.

I was nervous at first but soon realised that no one was there to judge me if I could not do everything. The staff work with you throughout the whole course.

If you are given the choice to join the programme, I would recommend you go for it! You learn a lot and leave the programme feeling healthier. You will continue to feel the benefit after the programme has finished, because you’ll likely want to continue being healthy and know all about good food and what it means to your body and how good it makes you feel.

I have completed the programme, but I have continued to follow what I learned during Body Benefits sessions. I still go to the gym, where I have noticed I have a lot more energy that I never previously had.

I quickly realised, I wasn’t feeling as tired as before the programme; I don’t rely on painkillers as much. My health has one hundred percent improved, from my BMI to lowered cholesterol and blood pressure. 

If you would like to feel healthier and fitter, then Body Benefits is the place to be. No one is judged and you continue to feel the benefits after you have completed the programme.”
