Family Fun Days

The Active North Tyneside team host annual Family Fun Days in parks across the borough during the six week holidays.

The events are great fun and free days out for families!

Family Fun Days - summer 2026

There will be something for everyone to enjoy this summer, with activities such as football, tennis, inflatables and garden games on offer. We’ll even be joined by a DJ to help set the tune to a fun-filled day.

Join us from 11am to 2pm on:

• Friday 24 July at Springfield Park

• Friday 31 July at Richardson Dees Park

• Friday 7 August at Churchill Playing Fields

• Friday 14 August at Northumberland Park

Activities are open to children of all ages.

Families can just turn up on the day, there’s no need to book or register.

Please note, children must be accompanied and supervised throughout the events by a responsible adult.
