What was it that made you sign up for Body Benefits?
“I had put on some extra weight since I retired from work about five years ago, and it was picked up by the practice nurse at one of my yearly check ups that my weight had been increasing. They put me on a weight management course first, then I was invited to join the Body Benefits programme.”
Were there any health reasons that prompted you to join?
“I was a little overweight and I needed an extra push to loose more weight, as well as a better understanding of what I was putting in my body.”
How did you feel about the course prior to starting?
“I felt okay about it as I had attended an introduction to weight management course about a year prior.”
How did you find the course?
“Great. I found the information very well presented and explained by the advisor/team.”
Thought's after finishing the course?
“I did really enjoy the course, it was a pleasure being part of it. I enjoyed getting help in the gym to use the machines correctly.“
Is there anything you have noticed that has changed about yourself?
“I'm eating a lot more healthy now; having smaller portions, doing more exercise and my clothes fit a lot better.”
Would you encourage anyone else to sign up?
“Yes, I would without hesitation. We received a lot of useful information about good health, food labels and fitness - all these were helpful.”
If there's is a sentence you could come up with to encourage someone else to join, what would it be?
“Just give it a go and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I have.”
