Volunteers (Age 16+)

This stage allows for more autonomy and responsibility, with roles that emphasise leadership and practical skills. Volunteers can be:

  • Activity leaders: Planning and leading sports or play sessions for groups (with necessary training and safeguarding awareness).

  • Event planners: Assisting with the organisation and execution of events, including logistics, communication and team coordination.

  • Community representatives: Acting as ambassadors for the programme, representing it at community events or on social media.

  • Trainer/supporter for helpers and leaders: Mentoring younger participants in their roles and helping to develop their confidence.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in group trips and residentials.
